We had a really fun time taking the Hollanders out today, and even though the fishing was great – the catching was terrible! The Kings just aren’t showing up in many numbers yet (this isn’t a terrible surprise for May, but we always are hopeful). We had a nice day on the water and enjoyed watching all the wildlife that Ketchikan offers.

Jim, Everything was awesome! I have fished all over the world and the experience we had on Saturday was the best I have had by far. The weather and fishing was amazing…., but I think I speak for everyone when I say that you, your knowledge and the overall experience with having you as the captain made the trip. We want to thank Capt Jim for an amazing trip! It was our first time salmon fishing in Alaska and we had a ball. He was waiting for us on the dock and we were the first ones off the ship. He worked HARD to get us on the fish. He has never had anyone miss the cruise ship and he got us back on time too. Thanks again for everything you did. Capt Jim, In short, I had a blast!!!! I can’t imagine it going much better for my first time up there. Thanks for your part in it all. If you remember, it was sort of a 16th Bday present for Quinn and I think he liked it.
